Did you know that the average enterprise-level company has 178 social media accounts? Did you know they barely use any of them? There are no shortage of blog posts about social media marketing and engagement for small businesses, but finding an article that has new insight is pretty tough.

This blog from BusinessZone is probably the best I’ve read on the subject. Tips include not chasing Likes and followers, and not creating accounts if you have no intention of using them for social media marketing.

Using Facebook as a platform for discounts and surveys is a really good idea too. We’ll be looking at that when we relaunch our website.
