After a very rewarding time occupying our little office in Wharfebank Mills, we’re moving on from Otley, and back to base in Leeds.
Family commitments are one reason for the move, but there are also the continual, lingering unknowns to contend with thanks to Brexit.
The news doesn’t seem to be any more promising for very small businesses like ours, and it is increasingly apparent that battening down the hatches is a wise move.
We started Red Robot in a recession, and we’re now in our tenth year. We’ve ridden out a few storms already. So we’re confident of our longevity and resilience.
We’re also very fortunate to have wonderful long-term clients who continue to support us.
Nonetheless, it seems sensible to make some adjustments to the way we work as the dark clouds continue to gather.
If you visit our office for meetings, rest assured that we have alternative facilities lined up. These will be geographically more convenient than Otley for our main technical writing customers, so there should be little, if any, disruption.
We’d like to extend our thanks to the Wharfebank Mills team who have accommodated us so well during our tenancy.
Bank Details Reminder
While we’re here, we’d like to remind all clients that our bank details have changed.
We’ve found Starling to offer drastically reduced costs, improved efficiency, and better features than our old bank, Barclays. It seems like a sensible time to switch, but not all customers have picked up on the new details.
As such, we would like to ask that all customers check their invoices for our new bank details. While both accounts remain open in parallel for now, we plan to transition fully to Starling by 1st November, 2019.
